We’re happy to announce the release of ARCO Control version 1.60 and ReCoPlan version 2.60. The new versions add advanced features for DER protection testing, additional PDF export of results, and modification of voltage signals in locked test plan mode.
Made for Anti-Islanding Protection testing
The Pick-Up test tool now includes modes for anti-islanding protection testing:
- Voltage stage 2 and Frequency stage 2 allow testing of stage 2 protection functions using a pulse ramp method, avoiding stage 1 activation.
- Vector shift and RoCoF modes enable testing of voltage phase angle shifts and rate-of-change-of-frequency protection.
Extended timer support and prefault settings make it easier to meet the requirements of solar sites with long trip durations.
Customizable PDF Export of Results
ARCO Control 1.60: Reports can now be saved directly in PDF format, with options to include detailed event logs and timing diagrams. Users can choose between A4 and Letter page formats, making it convenient to share and archive test results professionally.
Mode Modifications Within Locked Test Plan Mode
ARCO Control 1.60: Voltage correction factors and phase connections can now be adjusted directly within locked test plans*. This enables quick adaptation to different system conditions without creating separate plans, streamlining workflows and improving scalability.
* Note: VT and CT ratios remain fixed in this mode.
